Wix.com, providing midsized businesses and private users with access to a Flash website builder, has created a new product to mesh several tools and services, all in one package.

The company claimed that the new offering enhances users web building abilities by releasing a method that enables Wix users to set up an online shopping cart and launch an eCommerce website.

Making own web design and hosting it with Wix is free. Upgrading to new features such as unlimited bandwidth, 2.5 GB of storage and an ecommerce option now costs less than what these same components would normally run for individually, the company said.

The company further said that Wix offers upgrade packages with benefits such as using a personal domain name, imbedded Google analytics and extra storage for users who require a little more control.

Wix’s ecommerce features include: easy to add shopping cart, product management, a custom domain name, integration with PayPal and many more.

The company said that once a Wix user upgrades his account to the ecommerce package,he is ready to get started with their own online store, using Wix’s shopping cart and simple interface.

Also, creating and customising an eCommerce Flash website does not need a code. Users can either browse through the various Flash templates or start from scratch. Wix eCommerce is editable and capable of creating an online destination for potential customers.

Allon Bloch, Co-CEO of Wix, said: We’ve had a lot of requests for an eCommerce solution on Wix. We’ve been working hard to give our users something great! Our new eCommerce widget is simple to use, beautifully designed and capable of handling online selling needs.
