WebriQ, a provider of portal engines and content management systems, has unveiled its enhanced e-commerce application on its online content management system.
According to WebriQ, the enhanced application allows users with a business service on WebriQ to create and manage their own e-commerce sites or web shops. The enhanced application reportedly handles multiple product families, categories of products, currencies, languages, tax regimes and payment gateways.
The company said that the application is suitable for small and medium sized e-commerce applications and for companies who intend to set-up e-commerce applications for a fixed budget. The pricing of the application is set as a service, thereby minimising the upfront risk and spreading the cost of the application over the lifetime of the usage.
WebriQ is also launching its final touch on its multimedia platform. After the picture and video gallery, it is now adding a self-containing audio gallery to its multimedia offering. The audio gallery would have the same functionality as video gallery, to allow users to insert and embed any audio file into any of their web content elements, be it a content page, article, blog or forum.
