Wardlaw Claims Service has selected Enterasys Network solutions for the secure connection of both wired and wireless devices.

Enterasys said that its Matrix N-Series flow-based switches serve as the Wardlaw network’s core, securely connecting users to applications and data such as the company’s human resources programs and adjuster educational materials.

Enterasys also said that its SecureStack C-Series stackable switches deliver level two/level three/level four classification, bandwidth flow control and traffic prioritization to support IP telephony and IP Multicast voice/video/data convergence applications.

According to Enterasys, the policy-based wireless LAN connectivity enables high-performance mobile computing from any location without compromising the confidentiality, integrity or availability of information; and Enterasys XSR security routers deliver seamless virtual private network (VPN) interoperability with all operating systems’ embedded VPN clients.

Jeff Keahey, chief information officer of Wardlaw Claims, said: Enterasys offers us network connectivity that requires less than 5% of our time to maintain; while also delivering interoperability with our existing Cisco equipment. The Enterasys solutions allowed us to meet our goals of network availability and security without placing any burden of additional agents or different logon procedures on our end-users.
