IQNavigator, a provider of vendor management software (VMS), has deployed cloud company ServiceNow’s software-as-a-service to automate its IT help desk and other businesses processes.

The ServiceNow IT Service Automation Suite should help IQNavigator automate requests and any other tasks in a single system for its IT service desk.

The Colorado-based company said it is using the platform’s compliance application to automate the process of meeting service organisation control standards.

As a result, the time auditors spend collecting information will reduce, according to IQNavigator, as well as having a real-time understanding of how it is doing against its controls.

Craig Rants, VP of Information Services at IQNavigator, said: "We were in search of a solution for managing internal incidents that would eliminate the current manual processes we had for routing requests."

"With ServiceNow, we have a single portal for incidents across the entire company whether they pertain to an employee or a customer. Automated workflows allow us to effectively manage services and respond in a timely manner."

ServiceNow, which won a contract with Tickets.com not too long ago, said the platform would also allow IQNavigator to build and customise application for its HR system and other administration tasks.
