Virtusa, an IT services company, has introduced a new enterprise content management (ECM) offering, the Media Convergence Solution Accelerator, which includes consulting services, technology implementation and ongoing support and maintenance.
According to Virtusa, the new Media Convergence Solution Accelerator employs more than 20 pre-configured technical components that align with the following practices, multi-channel publishing that allows content sharing across multiple channels, including online, mobile web, mobile applications and print media; and social media integration that facilitates engagement by integrating internal and external interactive features such as blogs, wikis, rating/ranking options and social bookmarking.
In addition, the new offering employs pre-configured technical components that align with practices such as, site revenue model, user experience enhancement, ad server integration, video platform integration, internationalisation and localisation and search optimisation.
