VillageEDOCS, a software as a service (SaaS), has released a new version of MessageVision Platform (MVP) with updates to Questys-MessageVision’s Content Management, Workflow and Legislative Agenda software offerings.
The company said that Content Management (CMx) 2.0 is an electronic document and content management offering, designed for small- to medium-sized businesses and mid-sized enterprises to provide secure document control and handling while meeting compliance and regulatory standards and requirements.
According to VillageEDOCS, CMx 2.0 combined with the WorkFlow (WFx) 2.0 module enables users to leverage business process management to automate manual processes. The CMx promotes collaboration with a centralised offering for users to create, share, and edit documents, ideas and conversations.
In addition, the company also released LegisStream (LSx) 2.0, a Legislative Agenda Management package for municipalities that automates the entire agenda process, from creation of staff reports, agendas and packets to real-time roll-call, vote tabulation and meeting minutes. It features agenda customisation; enhanced reporting including, meeting summary, voting and legislative history; and workflow integration with WFx to automate the approval routing of any agenda item.
Mason Conner, CEO of VillageEDOCS, said: We applied our Agile Development and testing processes to Questys-MessageVision, resulting in shorter time-to-market windows to deliver leading-edge products to our customers.
“The Questys-MessageVision CMx, WFx and LSx products are key to our MessageVision Platform (MVP) of combining the power of electronic information exchange, content and business process management and unified communications, into one unique Software as a Service (SaaS), in a private or public cloud.
