By CBR Staff Writer

Vigilant Technology, a provider of IP video surveillance offerings, has completed integration testing of third-party cameras and has certified Arecont Vision’s H.264 Megapixel cameras for integration with its NetVR network video recorder and NetView control center offering.

Vigilant Technology said that its open architecture platform enables customers to integrate not only multiple types of cameras from multiple manufacturers, but also supports a wide range of third-party offerings including specialised video analytics, access control systems, storage, control room and situation management, displays, and wireless transmission.

Raul Calderon, vice president of strategic relations at Arecont Vision, said: We are extremely pleased that Arecont Vision’s megapixel cameras are now integrated with Vigilant Technology’s NetVR recording solution. As more of the security industry’s leading equipment suppliers continue to work together on an open platform, end users will continue to have a greater selection of solutions available to meet their specific needs.”

Vigilant NetVR is part of its Video Surveillance Suite which includes its NetView Control Center, a fully digital management offering providing a virtual matrix, video-wall operation and event handling. The company claimed that NetView provides enhanced video handling accuracy, flexibility and alarms management and is designed to achieve higher security levels in mission-critical, multi-user environments.
