Verizon launches 4G LTE enabled smartphones, tablets, notebooks

Devices are from LG, Samsung, HTC, Motorola, HP and Novatel Wireless

Verizon Wireless, a provider of 4G and 3G network, has launched 4G LTE network suite of 10 consumer-oriented devices, which includes smartphones from HTC, LG, Motorola and Samsung; tablets from Motorola and Samsung; a MiFi from Novatel Wireless and a mobile hotspot from Samsung; and two notebooks from HP.

Verizon Wireless is launching 4G LTE devices which include smartphones such as HTC ThunderBolt, LG Revolution, DROID Bionic 4G, and Samsung 4G LTE smartphone.

The tablets include Motorola XOOM and 4G LTE-enabled Samsung Galaxy Tab, while the laptops include Compaq CQ10-688nr and HP Pavilion dm1-3010nr.

The company has launched MiFi and Mobile Hotspot like Novatel MiFi 4510L and Samsung 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot.

Verizon Wireless president and chief executive officer Dan Mead said during this three-year journey, from acquiring spectrum to launch, they transformed network, and also their business by engaging in a strategy of collaboration and openness, while driving partnerships that will make 4G LTE successful across the globe.

The company said it is expanding its 4G LTE network to an additional 140 markets by the end of this year.
