Velocity Technology Solutions, a provider of enterprise software application management, hosting, and consulting services, has acquired the Lawson- and Kronos-hosting business from NaviSite ( NAVI).
As part of the transaction, Velocity Technology has acquired the SAS70 Type II-certified datacentre in Minneapolis, which supports the existing NaviSite clients.
Velocity Technology said the datacentre will extend and strengthen its Velocity On-Demand private-cloud architecture that provides customers with a processing environment and control and flexibility over their application software.
