Vasco Data Security, a software security company, has signed a reseller agreement with TH Consultants, a canadian-based Citrix partner to resell Vasco Digipass authentication products as an add-on to Citrix implementations.
According to Vasco, it also joined forces with other vendors for integration and compatibility with their products. Citrix products such as XenApp, XenDesktop and Citrix access gateway carry the Digipass ready logo. The authentication process for Citrix users is completely transparent and requires no additional log-on screens. Users can simply connect to Citrix applications using their Digipass authenticators.
James Hsu, vice president of TH Consultants, said: “By bundling VASCO authentication with our Citrix offering we are able to stand out from the competition and to deliver added value to our customers. Security now is offered as an extra layer to each Citrix implementation. By jointly offering both solutions we steer free from bidding wars and can deliver improved return-on-investment to our customers.
