Vanco Services launches text payment service

Users can text payment using mobile phones

By CBR Staff Writer

Vanco Services, a provider of electronic payment offerings, has introduced a new service that the company says gives clients the ability to accept payments or donations sent by text message.

Individuals can text payments anytime, anywhere using any mobile phone.

Vanco said that cell phones and smart phones have set the stage for growth in mobile payments. People in the age group of 18 and 34 are more than twice as likely to leave their wallets at home than their mobile phones, if the choice is available.

Vanco Services CEO Jeanne Spencer Rose said they anticipate strong interest in this new service – especially among people who are always on their mobile devices.

Vanco is a payment card industry (PCI) Level 1 Compliant Service Provider, offering several electronic payment options that may be deployed individually or as a comprehensive suite.
