Utopia said that this partnership with Open Text is part of its commitment to enhancing and expanding the reach and capabilities of its data lifecycle services.

Under the partnership, Utopia said that it will be providing implementation services, strategy consulting and best practices pertaining to enterprise content management (ECM) and data archival management, leveraging software services from Open Text. Additionally, these services complement Utopia’s SAP information management practice as they are integrated with SAP NetWeaver and SAP ERP.

Daniel Kehoe, vice president for North American SAP and channel sales at Open Text, said: Success to many of our SAP customers is predicated on projects that have a holistic approach to the management of all data: structured and unstructured. Utopia is uniquely positioned with top-down practices to strategically take control of data streams against work process, then factor in ECM to implement a cradle to grave plan that delivers business efficiency, risk management, and data center optimization.

John Ferraioli, senior vice president of business development and channel sales at Utopia, said: We are extremely excited about our partnership with Open Text. The challenge facing corporations today is the ability to find, organize, store and manage growing amounts of data. Our partnership with Open Text will provide the solutions that organizations are seeking for data archival and ECM to complement their enterprise data lifecycle management strategies.
