ATS wins $12m contract from US HUD

Application systems support

By CBR Staff Writer

ATS, a provider of technology offerings to government and commercial organisations, has won a contract from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (‘HUD’) Multifamily Housing organisation, to provide application systems support.

Under the five year contract, ATS will provide application systems support for HUD’s Integrated Real Estate Management System (‘iREMS’).

ATS executive vice president and chief operating officer Sidney Fuchs said the company is pleased to have been awarded this contract to build upon their nearly three decades of support to the Department of Housing and Urban Development by further enhancing the iREMS system using their proven capabilities involving Rational Unified Process (RUP) and agile software development methodologies.

"These methodologies allow us to quickly respond to the complex business challenges of HUD’s Multifamily Housing, and thereby provide the required services in a shorter timeframe and at less cost than traditional applications systems development practices," Fuchs said.
