Eva Chen, CEO at Trend Micro, said: In 2008, we made Trend Micro Smart Protection Network the industry standard for content security. This coming year, we will continue to further that vision by unveiling more Smart Protection Network-powered products, solutions and proof that our cloud-client architecture is the smartest way to deal with data-stealing malware. We want to challenge our prospects and customers to ‘Think Again’ about their security implementation, and understand how Trend Micro Smart Protection Network can help them combat the silent threats inside a corporate or home network.

For the first quarter 2009 the company expects revenue of approximately JPY 22.5bn ($250m), operating income of JPY 5.2bn ($57m), and net income of JPY 3.2bn ($35m).
