Trend Micro has released Worry-Free Business Security Services v5 with additional features that claim to address the security needs of small businesses and managed service providers.
The comapny said the new release will provide protection for Windows, Mac, and Android devices from a secure, web-based console and ensures small and medium sized businesses are protected wherever they are connected.
Worry-Free Business Security Services v5 can manage Mac and Android devices to provide increased security whether the devices are located, on or off the network.
Release v5 supports computers running Windows 8 and is also integrated into the Windows Server 2012 Essentials console to offer service providers and small businesses with an integrated application to protect users from cybercrime threats, the company said.
The new custom tags in the Worry-Free Business Security Services v5 will enable users to use email addresses, employee IDs or any other combination to accelerate workflow.
It also comes with improved work flows to reduce the steps necessary to complete common tasks, enabling users to add a device and the device to a group with ease.
Trend Micro SMB Marketing director Margaret Diego said the usage of Macs and mobile devices are increasing in the small business space.
"We make it a priority to meet the needs of SMBs and MSPs as the market and security landscape continues to change by enhancing Trend Micro Worry-Free Business Security Services to secure these different devices and platforms."
