Cloud security firm Trend Micro has integrated its Worry-Free Business Security Services into the Windows Server 2012 Essentials console to deliver an integrated application to protect users from cyber threats.
Trend Micro Worry-Free Business Security Services and Windows Server 2012 Essentials together will enable its managed service providers (MSPs) and channel partners to provide the right infrastructure, security and support for their customers’ businesses.
Worry-Free Business Security Services protects data and safeguards PCs, laptops, servers, and other Windows-based devices from viruses, spyware, spam, and other web threats.
The security services are powered by the Trend Micro Smart Protection Network, the security infrastructure that stops threats in cyberspace or "in the cloud" and monitors the Internet 24/7.
The Smart Protection Network gathers and analyses threat data, viruses, and other malware before they can reach user computers, said the company.
Windows Server 2012 Essentials provides an application to help protect data with its automated backup features and helps businesses organise, access information from virtually anywhere.
It also supports the applications needed to run the business and can help organisations connect to online services that they acquire separately.
