ATG (Art Technology Group), a provider of e-commerce software, has announced that T-Mobile Czech Republic has deployed the ATG commerce suite to support its e-business initiative, focused upon improving the online user experience and service to their customers.
Michal Nemec, vice president of portal & content management of T-Mobile Czech Republic, said: “We regard the implementation of the ATG commerce suite as a strategic component of our e-business initiative to provide a consistent and rich online user experience, whilst also delivering a fully personalised service to each of our customers.”
ATG said that the project includes the creation of a new eShop, which delivers a personalised customer shopping experience, supporting the sale of handsets, contracts and services.
Reportedly, T-Mobile has also integrated the ATG commerce suite with its customer contact centre, where customer service representatives process orders using ATG’s personalisation capabilities and deliver recommendations on upgrades to customers.
Frank Lord, vice president of ATG said: “In this instance, T-Mobile’s eShop and contact centre can truly excel as they utilise ATG to maintain a single view of the customer, in order to provide a consistent and personalised experience.
“Additionally, ATG’s ability to support the dynamic pricing of product bundles is particularly relevant in servicing the complex needs of the growing number of ATG telecommunications clients. We’re delighted to have T-Mobile Czech Republic as a client and look forward to continuing to work with them to further enhance the capabilities of their ATG Commerce platform.”
