TIBCO is targeting business agility with its latest addition to its data platform, BusinessEvents 5.2.
The solution is aimed at enabling real time operation decision-making through a distributed rules engine. It can detect patters in the real-time flow of events to help identify critical business decisions.
The additions to BusinessEvents 5.2 include improvements to usability and a more open ecosystem which has been facilitated by a new algorithm. It now contains an expanded number of API’s to help customers build on UI’s on their own with the language which suits them.
The company has also added data grid security, which enhances the ability to share real-time state and contextual data on common infrastructure platforms using encryption and client authentication.

ActiveSpaces has also been enabled on the solution, the in-memory data grid will provide improve reliability of fault tolerance.
