TIBCO enhances its core platform for improved cloud services

The updates and new products aim to allow customers to build solutions quickly and easily.

By Kate Heslop

TIBCO Software Inc. has continued to enhance its company’s core platform, which will allow customers to build solutions that can be used independently or delivered together.

Recent announcements relating to the TIBCO suite of products across automation, event processing, analytics, cloud and social collaboration place TIBCO significantly further ahead in delivering extreme value to the enterprise through products that capture and analyse data in real time, and enable connection and collaboration in the cloud.

With new product releases this month at TIBCO’s annual users’ conference, TUCON, it shows further investments in TIBCO Spotfire 6.0, TIBCO ActiveMatrix Business Works, TIBCO Cloud MDM, TIBCO Vault, TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM, and TIBCO FTL.

The investments will aim to enhance the products, allowing customers to build solutions quickly and easily, ones that reduce complexity and ensure that the customer and employee experience is straightforward and simple.

The TIBCO Spotfire 6.0 platform introduces new enhancements and products designed to operationalise big data and offer exceptional speed-to-value through automation, superior contextualisation, and expanded deployment opportunities.

These include the TIBCO Spotfire Consumer, which presents up-to-date key performance indicators on a comprehensive range of mobile devices supporting capabilities such as offline KPI monitoring, contextual drill-down and social collaboration. TIBCO Spotfire Event Analytics, an additional new product, allows enterprises to automate the tracking and identification of new trends or outliers in business data as they are generated.

TIBCO’s next-generation of cloud services gives customers the tools to successfully deploy and manage all of their data in the cloud. Its cloud portfolio now includes advanced location, business, and data prep analytics, new open APIs, integration tools and management solutions.
