Television and digital production company Endemol has chosen Cambridge’s Imaging Systems’ asset management system to handle and provide easy access to content across all of its subsidiaries.

Endemol said the hours of content produced had to be digitised, organised and easy to use in order to keep up with the growing demand for online video content.

In particular, staff needed easy access to the entire content from one portal as it looked to improve revenue and awareness through social media exposure and footage sales.

Imagen, which was installed by broadcast integration specialists root6, should allow Endemol to stream online videos, and clip, annotate, share and deliver content to clients.

Mark Cotterel, head of IT at Endemol, said: "The new system will provide a glossy, fully searchable and easy to use system that puts Endemol and our associated production companies at the forefront of digital asset management and publishing."

Tom Blake, MD of Cambridge Imaging Systems, said: "The commissioned system will bring all Endemol companies in line with a high spec, fully searchable and easy to use platform that will prove to be an incredibly useful marketing tool as well as preserving valuable assets."
