Internet security firm Symantec has introduced Symantec Endpoint Protection Management Plug-in 1.5 for Kaseya software, which is now available for free of cost for Symantec registered partners.

The discrete third party security plug-in product for Kaseya includes the monitoring of APIs to deepen integration with remote monitoring and management platforms (RMMs), allowing MSPs to differentiate their services.

Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 will enable MSPs to be profitable and efficient by keeping endpoints updated, being proactive in fixing issues, and monitoring their customers’ environments from a single console.

Information can be monitored from an organisational level and for the individual devices, computer name, version, infection status, management system, last scan time, operating system, and protection status can be retrieved.

The new release also offers enhanced monitoring of APIs for integration with RMM platforms, allowing MSPs to view and monitor detailed information such as license expiration, status, license type, updates.

MSPs can now check customers’ connectivity to the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager, system health, risk, scan, remediation events, report on protection that is enabled or disabled, and content revision events.
