According to the compnay, Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) 15.0.3 includes a number of new features such as enhanced support for third party Java virtual machines within the database, enabling enterprises to use the same Java virtual machine within their ASE database, mid-tier architecture, and application.
Sybase said that it is extending free use of WorkSpace Database Development for ASE and SQL Anywhere customers through 2009. A graphical Eclipse-based tool, WorkSpace Database Development is expected to enable visual SQL building, query analysis, editing and debugging.
