Scribbos, a subsidiary of Stonebranch, has launched a secure business communications product, also named Scribbos, designed to send confidential messages or large files over the internet instantly.

The company said that Scribbos provides the technology for protecting information against the risk of security breaches while enhancing business productivity. It can be deployed as SaaS, on-premise or as a mobile application, to support secure business communications on iPhones and other mobile devices.

The company claims the new offering to provide advantages over existing products and web-based file transfer services with heightened security and safety, ease-of-use, and better control over tracking and monitoring.

Scribbos said that the new product is suitable for organisations in healthcare, financial, legal services and insurance industries, since they transfer and protect high volumes of confidential data and are required to meet privacy mandates.

Gert Adolphsen, executive vice president of Stonebranch, said, We are dedicated to being the industry leader in secure business communications. In addition to making security a given, Scribbos easily accommodates growth, eliminates maintenance and reduces the investment in infrastructure – all of which boosts companies’ returns on investment.
