Sourcesense, a provider of open source systems integrator, and The Go To Group (Go2Group), a provider of software production line automation (SPLA), have formed a technological partnership to extend middleware alternatives into the software development environment.

The companies claim that with the combination of Sourcesense’s open source expertise and Go2Group’s services, the partnership aims to bring the open source offerings to customers looking for an option to traditional enterprise products.

According to the companies, Go2Group will begin development and support for Sourcesense’s Scarlet clustering component to the Terracotta product. Initial development will include focusing on the installation process and understanding customer demands for features in an updated roadmap and contributing to the development of Scarlet for JIRA 4.0.

The partnership includes leveraging regional support hours for Go2Group and Sourcesense products, a new packaged offering aimed at geographically disbursed organisations looking for software development tools, and services.

In addition, the partnership will also include Sourcesense reselling the Go2Group JaM Plugin, a product that provides integration between Atlassian JIRA and HP Quality Centre.

Gianugo Rabellino, CEO of Sourcesense, said: With Sourcesense’s full coverage of open source services and solutions, combined with Go2Group’s products and development expertise as well as their support and footprint in N. America and Japan, we’re certain our enterprise-class customers will fully benefit from this partnership.
