Sony Ericsson has rolled out its new sliding handset, T715. The new device comes with 2.2-inch screen with QVGA resolution display, 3.2 megapixel camera and 3G network connection.

The T715 features a smart desktop to remind the user of the appointments and events. It also comes with the Google Maps including local search and directions and AccuWeather.com.

Quentin Cordier, marketing business manager at Sony Ericsson, said: “Building on our current 3G portfolio, the T715 allows us to bring 3G mobile phones to even more markets giving them high speed internet access wherever they are.

With a premium brushed aluminium cover and glossy front, this new mobile phone demonstrates the sophisticated design language consumers have come to expect from Sony Ericsson.”

The new device measures 91.5 x 48 x 14.9mm and weighs 96.5 grams. It has up to 90MB of phone memory and supports microSD card format.

The Sony Ericsson T715 is expected to be available in selected markets in the third quarter of 2009.
