SonicWALL, a secure network infrastructure company, has released Email Security Virtual Appliance, providing one more deployment option for its email security and anti-spam offerings.
SonicWALL Email Security Virtual Appliance arms mid-to-large enterprises and managed service providers (MSPs) with email security and anti-spam capabilities in a virtualised environment. VARs and MSPs can utilise the multi-tenant capabilities to provide flexible services to multiple customers, the company said.
The new offering includes the Global Management System Virtual Appliance and ViewPoint Virtual Appliance. This line of virtual appliances helps end users to reduce complexity, ease administration, consolidate resources, harden security, optimise performance and lower total cost of ownership (TCO), the company claims.
In addition, the new offering also helps users to deliver direct exponential savings to large distributed enterprises and increase MSP profitability through enhanced efficiencies. The offering increases options for multi-tenant based business models; eases migration and minimises deployment costs; and allows resource consolidation to reduce costs by running multiple operating systems and applications on a single system, SonicWALL said.
