Sonata Software has launched enablement services for applications on the Oracle Platform for Software as a Service (SaaS).

As part of this initiative Sonata will enable Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and enterprises with custom applications to migrate their applications to the Oracle Platform for SaaS. The initiative will include providing SaaS Solution Adoption Accelerators and building a Proof of Concept for adoption of technology, the company said.

As the preferred migration partner for Oracle Database worldwide, and as an Oracle Certified Solutions Partner for both e-Business and core technologies, Sonata has completed various Oracle implementations.

Oracle reportedly provides a comprehensive platform including Database, Fusion Middleware, Enterprise Manager and VM for building, deploying and managing SaaS applications.

Sonata is said to provides a range of services including IT consulting, architecture, product engineering to operational services. The company claims to be a one-point-shop for ISVs and enterprises at various stages of their SaaS enablement life cycle.
