Knoxville-based Skysa has launched a new web-based sharing system dubbed Interactive Sharing, which works in conjunction with the company’s App Bar.
The company claims that the Interactive Sharing solves issues such as, allowing users to share the page as a whole; and every conversation associated with the content is off of the site it appears on.
According to Skysa, the new system enables users to share the entire page or highlight specific areas of text, images and videos on the webpage they are viewing. Once a selection has been made, it prompts users to add a comment that is viewable to those who click on the shared link. The final step is to select a system to share the content to sites such as Twitter and Facebook.
The system works in conjunction with traditional sharing services. The Interactive Sharing system remembers the specific text, image or video that was shared and displays it in a highlighted box, along with comments people have left about it, the company said.
In addition, the new system facilitates visitors in creating a conversation on their own website about a specific piece of content without any clutter. The highlight box has additional options to re-share, close the highlight box, and collapse comments, Skysa added.
