Skyhook Wireless, a provider of the Core Location Platform, partnered with Samsung to deploy its geo-location technology across multiple Samsung mobile devices.
According to Skyhook, this partnership will launch the first handset with Skyhook embedded on Samsung Wave – Model: S8500, a handset to be released with Samsung’s new, open mobile platform, Samsung bada.
Skyhook said the new technology will enable all location-aware applications by providing precise, reliable, and fastest location information available.
