Siemens PLM Software, a business unit of the Siemens Industry Automation Division, has launched Solid Edge software with synchronous technology 2 in Korea.
The new offering features the second version of Solid Edge with synchronous technology that reportedly serves as a basic tool in helping customers react to the market.
According to the company, Solid Edge is a component of the Velocity Series portfolio and combines modelling with dimension-driven design.
The latest release is claimed to extend synchronous technology in the product with improved part and assembly modelling as well as a new sheet metal application.

Along with this release, Siemens PLM Software also announced a new built-in FEA tool and PDM integration, leveraging the Microsoft SharePoint platforms.
