ServiceNow buys Israel start up Neebula for $100m

This is the second acquisition for the IT cloud company following Mirror42

US based cloud service company, ServiceNow has acquired Israeli startup Neebula for $100m in an all- cash transaction.

Neebula provides business service management (BSM) tools to manage virtual environments and IT which claimed to improve IT performance and availability through an automated and unified way.

Founded in 2009 Nebula provides Service Availability Management software to support the complex and dynamic data centre environments.

Its flagship product is ServiceWatch, which enables companies to discover the systems and software that are running in the IT environment. The process is conducted by automating discovery, monitoring and mapping of IT-enabled enterprise services.

ServieNow will integrate ServiceWatch to enhance its IT Operations Management products like Event Management, Discovery and Orchestration.

ServiceNow’s president and chief executive officer, Frank Slootman said: "ServiceWatch will become a centerpiece of our IT Operations Management strategy,"

"It is a fundamental transformation from decades of component-centric management to one that puts the service portfolio front and center."
