SeeUnity launches new WorkSite Repository Connector

Brings together Autonomy Worksite and Microsoft Fast

By CBR Staff Writer

SeeUnity, a provider of enterprise content integration and migration products, has released a new Autonomy Interwoven WorkSite (Worksite) connector for its Enterprise Integration for Microsoft Fast (EIF).

The company claims that the new WorkSite Repository Connector bridges WorkSite repositories and Microsoft Fast ESP with Enterprise Integration for Fast, to enable users to retrieve and view documents directly from worksite without custom coding.

According to SeeUnity, the Enterprise Integration for Fast offers easy deployment; graphical user interface for setting up worksite crawls; support for metadata, content, and security crawling; scheduled full and incremental crawling; built-in throttling to optimise crawl performance; and security mapping that enables WorkSite existing security to be passed to Fast’s SAM.

In addition, it offers expanding access to remote workSite users through Fast’s web-based search interface; and search performance through index-based crawling with incremental caching. The EIS enables WorkSite’s existing security to be passed to Fast ESP ensuring result lists are secured based on WorkSite ACLs, SeeUnity said.
