Secure Logix has launched version 6.0 of ETM System, which features new IP telephony security, intelligence, and network management capabilities for enterprise voice/UC networks running SIP trunking services.
The company said that the new offering enhances the ETM System’s TDM security capabilities with additional VoIP/UC security features, providing unified policy enforcement and enterprise-wide protection against TDM- and SIP-based toll fraud, unauthorised network access, social engineering attacks and identity theft schemes, service abuse and financial losses, harassing or unwanted callers, and sensitive data leakage and theft.
In addition, the version also offers unified voice network intelligence across any mix of TDM or VoIP switch types and multi-vendor UC devices and endpoints. These centralised visibility and management capabilities can help lower costs and simplify management of complex UC environments though network optimisation and planning, traffic reporting and analytics, service performance monitoring and troubleshooting, call recording, and business operations intelligence, the company said.
David Heard,VP of marketing at SecureLogix, said: “As traditional enterprise voice networks evolve into SIP-based services and UC environments, they are becoming increasingly difficult to secure and efficiently manage.
“SecureLogix can help customers meet their UC security and management needs to lower expenses, strengthen compliance, and enhance their business operations through all stages of communications convergence.”
