SDL, a provider of Global Information Management offerings, has launched BeGlobal, which is designed to deliver a central cloud platform to manage and deliver real-time automated translation for multilingual interactions across all forms of corporate communications.

The company said that its new offering combines TrustScore, and allows monolingual content managers and business users to communicate with their global customers.

BeGlobal enables users to manage communications with customers in real-time, through one central interface for multiple types of content, communication and social media.

SDL Language Technologies CEO Mark Tapling said BeGlobal coupled with new features such as Touchpoints, TrustScore and brand and terminology management, empowers business users to have unprecedented control over multilingual assets.

SDL Language Weaver vice president of products and marketing Swamy Viswanathan said BeGlobal brings automated translation into a secure cloud platform, with nothing to install.

"Through the innovative TouchPoint feature, a single user can determine what they want to translate, the languages and quality required, and the destination of the translated content," Viswanathan said.
