Progress Software is gearing up to launch a new feature for its Responsive Process Management suite called Monitor Process, CBR has learned.
The new feature will enable companies to get far greater visibility into their business processes, but it will also help companies to better understand the human element in a business process and in turn optimise those processes to enhance the experience of customers, and create more efficient companies.
Speaking to CBR, Progress Software enterprise infrastructure CTO Hub Vandervoort said the new technology will help companies, "Monitor faster from ‘the shadows’, allowing firms to optimise not only their business process but better understand the role played by people – staff – in business processes."
Vandervoort said Monitor Process would add another key differentiator to Progress’ RPM suite, which already includes business process management (BPM), business transaction assurance (BTA) and complex event processing (CEP).
Further details won’t be made available until nearer the launch, Vandervoort said, which is expected late this or early next year.
