Consumer electronics accessories designer and manufacturer Satechi has launched a portable external SATA Hard Drive Enclosure -LockDown.
Lockdown supports perfect encryption and data security via advanced encryption standard (AES) 256 bit algorithm.
The device not only keeps data securely with an encrypted password protection but also provides Super-Speed data transfer through USB 3.0, claims the company.
Through the encrypted HDD of LockDown, it is impossible to read or decode any data on the HDD even though it is connected with other PC systems or devices.
With easy-to-use capacitance touch keypad and OLED screen, the Satechi Lockdown Personal Security System is only accessible using a 4-8 digit password.
Both Mac and PC compatible, LockDown offers over 100 million different password combinations.
