SAP has entered into a strategic partnership with CA to enable customers to manage their risk across their business and IT processes.
Through this initiative CA combines its Enterprise IT management products with GRC applications from SAP BusinessObjects portfolio that will allow IT executives to gain tighter control over their IT risk and compliance initiatives and focus on long-term value creation for the business.
In addition, an enterprise GRC solution from SAP provides customers with automate and standardise GRC activities with pre-defined workflow and reporting; and protect business value through continuous monitoring of both IT and business controls, which helps ensure that risks are managed to a level that is acceptable to the business.
CA Enterprise Log Manager, CA Clarity PPM, and CA Wily Application Performance Management provides content for the SAP BusinessObjects Risk Management and SAP BusinessObjects Process Control applications to map into the IT and business frameworks.
This also helps continuously monitor these frameworks so that risk and compliance issues can be identified and mitigated proactively before events occur.
