Samsung Electronics has introduced the GALAXY Tab 3 series of tablets including the 8-inch and 10.1-inch versions.
GALAXY Tab 3 10.1 inch tablet will be powered by the Intel’s Dual-Core processors replacing the Qualcomm’s processor previously used by the company.
The 8-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is an updated version of the 7-inch tablet that is powered by the 1.5GHz dual-core processor and runs on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean version operating system (OS).
Having a 1280 x 800 display, the slate comes with 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front facing camera, 16GB or 32GB internal memory with microSD card slot and 1.5GB of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 having the similar 1280 x 800 resolution display, with 10.1-inch screen is powered by the 1.6GHz dual-core processor with the same Android 4.2 Jelly Bean version OS.
Features of the device include a 3MP camera and 1GB RAM along with a 6,800mAh battery and an internal memory options of the 16GB or 32GB.
Both of the devices offer connectivity for the LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth data transfer processes.
According to the company, the devices will be available from June this year.
