Apple has won another patent infringement lawsuit against its rival, Samsung Electronics, in a UK court.
Samsung filed a lawsuit in a UK court claiming that Apple infringed three of its patents related to technology involving the transmission of data over 3G mobile networks.
Judge Christopher Floyd in London ruled that Samsung’s patents were invalid since the patents had already existed.
Reacting to the judge’s ruling, Samsung said it was disappointed by the court’s decision and will review the ruling before deciding whether to appeal.
Last year, Apple lost its patent case against Samsung in London’s Court of Appeal after a judge ruled that the Galaxy tablet does not infringe the iPad’s design.
Last week, a Tokyo court rejected Samsung’s request to ban sales of Apple’s iPhone and iPad in Japan.
Both the firms started their legal battles in 2011, when Apple first sued Samsung in the US over intellectual property infringements.
