Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S IV smartphone is expected to feature ‘green pholed’ and floating touch technology.
‘Green pholed’ technology allows the battery to operate 25% more efficiently than normal.
The floating touch technology, currently used in Samsung’s Air view’s SPEN, allows users to browse the web by hovering a finger above the screen without touching the display.
According to Sammobile, the device is expected to run on an eight-core Samsung Exynos Octa processor and to have a 13-megapixel rear camera, 2GB RAM, and a Photosphere-like function called Samsung Orb.
The phone is expected to use an update to Android 4.2.2 and enhanced version of Samsung’s TouchWiz Nature UX.
The website reports the launch of two different Samsung devices for the Galaxy S IV, one variant which includes the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and a Super LCD3 screen.
The new phone is expected to launch on 14 March 2013.
