Samsung has introduced two Android smartphones to its Galaxy portfolio, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 and Galaxy Mega 5.8.
The Galaxy Mega 6.3 smartphone is powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz and runs on the Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean version.
Features of the phone include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and A-GPS and comes in two variants having internal storage capacity of 8GB and 16GB, along with a microSD card for expanding the memory up to 64GB.
The phone has a 3,200mAh battery and is made available with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front camera.
According to the company, the GALAXY Mega will be a somewhere between a smartphone and tablet, with features like a split screen, multitasking between video and other apps.
Samsung has also revealed the Galaxy Mega 5.8 with a 5.8 inch screen with QHD TFT display having a screen resolution of 540x960P.
The Galaxy Mega 5.8 is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor and features a similar camera to that of the Galaxy Mega 6.3, while having an 8GB internal storage capacity.
The GALAXY Mega will be launched in Europe and Russia in May.
