Samsung is again delivering a software update to its Galaxy S3 smartphone for its UK users, a month after it clogged the rollout, which annoyed users.
The earlier update had reportedly drained the battery of S3 device within no time, and would unexpectedly freeze, or completely "bricked" users altogether.
Samsung has apologised for the inconvenience this has caused.
"The fix for the issues with Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean 4.3 upgrade has begun rolling out to selected users in the UK, and will continue to do so," the South Korean firm told the BBC.
"Specific upgrade schedules will vary by mobile operators. Please check your phone for the upgrade."
Being offered for free and over-the-air via the South Korean firm’s Kies download solution, the latest update comes with revamped GPU drivers; an updated QWERTY Samsung virtual keyboard; in addition to revamped lock screen, new S-Voice and several other features.
The update, which incorporates Samsung KNOX, would also allow the global version of the Galaxy S3 to support the Galaxy Gear smartwatch which is currently only compatible with the Galaxy Note 3.
Launched in May 2012, Samsung Galaxy S3 primarily ran on the Android 4 version while was later on updated to 4.1 version.
