SafeNet has released its new eSafe SmartSuite Secure Gateway for web and mail protection and control. The new platform offers a combination of protection, ‘value-focused’ management and reporting that provides the insights for businesses.
SafeNet said that developed on eSafe’s technology platform, designed to protect organisations from current and future threats, the new gateway platform offers real-time inspection of all inbound and outbound web and mail traffic.
SafeNet claims that the new gateway platform improves productivity and management visibility, and enhances security decision-making capabilities through monitoring, trend analysis and reporting functionality.
The new gateway platform offers integrated content security and data leakage prevention with data aware monitoring to assess and mitigate threats originating from data leakage. It allows organisations to detect, analyse, and prevent mishandling of information to take preventive measures to protect sensitive data, the company said.
In addition to management and reporting capabilities, the new platform features: anti-malware protection and Web 2.0 applications control. It also offers trend analysis and reporting tools that provide insight into business data, including outstanding threats and events, user activity and productivity, network and file activities.
