ReadSoft wins deal with US-based energy services firm

ReadSoft, a provider of software solutions for document automation, has won a SAP-related accounts payable automation project from an energy services and delivery company in the US.

By CBR Staff Writer

The energy services and delivery company, serving about three million customers in the US, has decided to invest $400,000 in ReadSoft’s solutions. The roll-out of the solution is planned to start during the fourth quarter of 2008, said ReadSoft.

ReadSoft has said that the energy services and delivery company was attracted to a business solution that will reduce paper and provide an electronic procedure, apart from making the accounts payable processes efficient.

According to ReadSoft, after a thorough benchmark with the suppliers in the market, the energy services and delivery company has decided to partner with ReadSoft. The software’s stability, with the users all over the world, and ReadSoft’s integration into SAP were the main reasons for choosing ReadSoft. The solution offers a business value, allowing the customer to make better use of its employees, ensure quality information, and improve security. ReadSoft’s SAP solution including the products Invoice Cockpit, Web Cycle, Analyzer and Invoices will now be used to process more than 150,000 invoices annually.

Jan Andersson, president and CEO of ReadSoft, said: This is yet another good agreement and reference for us on the North American market. We find it both exciting and interesting that our solutions also strengthens the environmental profile of our customers.
