App developer Medium has launched its new iPhone app aimed at reading and recommending stories on the move.
Users have to sign in using their Twitter credentials and they would be taken to a list of stories depending on trending topics and users selected ones to follow.
The Medium for iPhone app also notifies the time taken to read each story, and users can also swipe to next story if they get bored.
Medium founder Ev Williams said in a statement: "When you sign into Medium for iPhone with your Twitter account, it fetches your personalised reading list, which is fueled by people you follow on Twitter and collections you follow on Medium.
"Every story is presented in full-screen glory, and includes our estimated read time," Williams added.
"But if you lose interest, there’s always another waiting with a simple sideways swipe across the screen.
"Tap to recommend stories you think others should see, and quickly share them via Twitter, Facebook, or email."
In addition, users can also share their article through Twitter, Facebook and email.
