QuorumLabs has released a new version of business continuity offering for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), which it claims to simplify deployment and ease of use, while adding new capabilities such as point-in-time file-level recovery, deduplication, enhanced platform support and multi-tenancy.

The company said that the QuorumLabs onQ 2.0 integrates various technologies into an all-in-one appliance and maintains up-to-date virtual machine clones of all critical systems to give SMBs instant recovery.

According to QuorumLab, the new version includes enhancements such as zero-configuration, zero typing installation to protect new server; point-in-time file-level recovery that allows users to restore files, folders or entire system to any prior snapshot state; and incremental updates.

In addition, the new offering also includes features such as improved deduplication and replication; enhanced integrated monitoring and alerts; expanded platform support that includes Windows 2003 server (32- and 64-bit x86) and Windows 2008 server (32- and 64-bit x86) and multi-tenant appliance support.

Robert Habibi, president and CEO of QuorumLabs, said: “onQ provides the best out-of-the-box experience in the industry with its simplified ‘zero configuration, zero typing’ installation so that businesses can begin complete system protection within minutes.

“This is a huge benefit for small and mid-sized companies without IT staff resources. Now, customers can enjoy both easy installation, as well as One-Click Recovery from any storage, server or complete site failure.”
