Pilgrim Software, a provider of enterprise risk, compliance and quality management (ERCQM) software offerings, has collaborated with PleaseTech Ltd, a provider of collaborative document authoring and review.
The collaboration is to make PleaseTech’s PleaseReview available to their customers as an integrated collaboration offering to Pilgrim’s SmartSolve suite of products.
The company said that this collaboration enables Pilgrim customers to collaboratively co-author documents and review content using the PleaseReview offering, within its secure, structured and controlled environment.
In addition, multiple participants will also be able to easily co-author and review documents simultaneously, and in real time, in a truly collaborative manner.
PleaseReview provides a collaborative, browser-based environment to manage the document authoring and review process and enables simultaneous authoring and review of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint documents, PDFs, images and text.
In addition, by using its simple ‘point and click’ review tools, users can virtually discuss and synchronise documents with each other, paragraph by paragraph, or can download for offline review.

The document author or manager maintains full control of the review and can monitor users’ progress, while all changes and comments are automatically saved in an audit trail.
The automatic capture of key metrics can subsequently be used for reporting and analysis.
Pilgrim Software chief technology officer Atulya Risal said the company is excited to reach this agreement with PleaseTech, which will expand and further strengthen their document management capabilities for their highly regulated customers.
