Photobucket, a photo and video sharing service, has debuted automatic video upload functionality in the pre-installed Photobucket Mobile Application on the T-Mobile G2 with Google.

The G2, the smartphone specifically designed for T-Mobile’s new HSPA+ network, features an HD video camera for recording 720p high-definition videos and a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and autofocus.

Photobucket said that the new offering will allow G2 users to automatically upload and backup videos to their Photobucket account for sharing.

In addition, videos can be set to automatically upload to Photobucket as a background operation over T-Mobile’s network after a user takes a video with the G2.

Photobucket president Tom Munro said the new automatic video upload feature on the G2 ensures that users can easily copy their video from their phone to the Photobucket cloud, and once uploaded, users can post their videos to websites and blogs and share via email, IM, Facebook, or Twitter.
