Mobile applications software provider Options Media Group Holdings subsidary PhoneGuard plans to launch its application suite which include "Personal Security" and "Text Responsibly" platforms.

With the features of "Personal Security" and "Text Responsibly" platforms PhoneGuard disables texting, emailing and keyboard functions of a mobile phone while in a vehicle moving faster than 10 miles per hour.

"Personal Security" and "Text Responsibly" are availabele for PhoneGuard, PhoneGuard Family and Family Pro, as well as PhoneGuard Enterprise.

The "Personal Security" features include: panic button which is a pre-selected and programmed emergency call function that is activated by simply hitting one key, providing the person receiving the emergency call with a GPS location of the user.

In addition the "Personal Security" features a speed control to enable phone’s administrator to receive text message alerts showing the location and speed of the user’s mobile phone and it also features a GeoFencing to allow phone’s administrator to select geographic boundaries and receive a text message if the phone strays outside of the boundaries.

"Text Responsibly" features include a text block thet prevents the driver from texting while driving or using the phone’s keyboard and permission request that allows users to request permission from the administrator to have functionality of the mobile phone.

In addition the "Text Responsibly" features admin override, which lets the administrator type in a set password to override PhoneGuard’s System Settings; an admin control to allow an administrator to enter new administrative phone numbers and remove old ones.

"Text Responsibly" also contain a remember pass code, which remembers the passcode so the phone will bypass the login for all administrative functions; timeout function thet permits administrator to set timeout periods; and a custom timeout and auto-reply to customise timeout messages on the phone.

PhoneGuard Board chairman Keith St. Clair said PhoneGuard is excited to bring its application suite to market and provide personal security and responsible texting options to multiple audiences.
