Google is facing problems paying developers through its AdMob mobile app advertising platform due to a flaw in PayPal’s payment application. According to reports, developers have not been able to receive payments due to the application malfunctioning.

Google AdMob Ads developer programs engineer Eric Leichtenschlag said, "Please be assured that your payment is not lost and will be sent as soon as possible."

Additionally, some developers are understood to be looking to move to another platform.

Google is currently working on the issue and said it is expected to be fixed soon.

Google is anticipated to generate $2.31bn in mobile ad revenues during 2013 surpassing Facebook, regardless of the social network’s attempts to strengthen its mobile business.
